The balls or testes are the powerhouse of your genitals – this is where all the action takes place in making sperm along with male hormones. They hang outside your body to keep them cooler in order to make millions of sperm every day and in a teaspoon of semen (cum) there are over 4 – 5 hundred million sperm cells! One o them tends to hang lower than the other – perfectly normally.

Your balls are very sensitive and some guys love having their balls licked, touched, pulled, gently nibbled and so on, as part of oral sex.

Not everyone feels the same way though - some guys find that their balls are so sensitive that they don't like them being touched during sex. Ask before you chew. It also goes without saying that lumps and bumps in your balls need checking out straight away. If you find anything unusual, best give your doctor or local GUM a call and have it checked out.
